Happy 6 months Fisher and Davis!

Happy 6 months boys! You sure have grown a lot in the past 6 months. When you were born I could hold each of you in one hand. You were both like baby dolls. I could also carry both of your carriers at the same time, but now I struggle with carrying one at a time. Both of you slept through the night for the first time last night. I was so excited and somewhat rested! :-) I can't believe you're already 6 months old. I am so lucky to be your mom and I look forward to the many years ahead. I love you as much as the whole wide world!
Love, Mom

The boys turned 6 months old today. I can't believe it- time sure does fly by. They can do so many things now. They talk all the time and when they both start talking Tucker starts howling. It is absolutely hilarious. I am going to try and catch it on video so I can post it. They are very close to sitting up and I think Fisher is going to be crawling before long. Their personalities are starting to really develop and they are so different from each other. We go to the doctor for their 6 month checkup on Tuesday. More shots! :-( The good news though is they're growing like weeds so I'm sure they will be on the regular growth charts now rather than the preemie charts.

On a side note, I haven't had time to post lately because work has been CRAZY and we've been busy on the weekends. We've taken the boys to do lots of things and I'll post pictures of that soon. I have the cutest costumes for them for Halloween so I'll post those this weekend sometime. More to come...

Food Festival

We met some of our friends downtown today for a huge food festival. Restaurants from around town were selling samples of foods from their menus. Evan and I only spent $25 and we got a ton of delicious food. Both of us were stuffed!!! The boys had a great time strolling around town and seeing some of their friends. They had lots of rides and shows for kids, but Davis and Fisher weren't quite old enough to enjoy those, but in a few years they will be. :-) It was such a beautiful day today. We really enjoyed being outside!

Wofford Homecoming

It was Wofford Homecoming this weekend so we took the boys to their first football game. I swear every time we go back the campus has changed. We parked at the auditorium and walked through the row to go to the game. It brought back so many GREAT memories. The girls had dresses and uncomfortable heels on and the guys all had on ties. That was me 7 years ago-living the college life. Wow how time flies- those 4 years were so much fun!

As we pushed the strollers through the row I thought about how much things have changed for us since last Homecoming and I just smiled and thought I wouldn't change it for the world! We went to the game for a little while and then we went to see Claire and her family at their tailgating spot. We had such a good time and it was so good to see everyone. Thanks Claire!

$2.69

$2.69... that's how much we got gas for this weekend. Yahoo!!! We were able to fill my bus up for $65.00. I couldn't believe it! It's kind of sad that we're celebrating it only being $2.69. I remember when it used to cost $0.89 a gallon. Thank goodness I'm not still in high school. I certainly wouldn't have been able to "drive around" on the weekends which is what all the cool kids did. My Celica would have been parked in the driveway.
